PART DESCRIPTION
My ultimate goal is to make the DF64P/DF64E grinder as perfect as it can be.
The 10° tilted base is the next step in order to achieve the lowest retention possible. Comparing the DF64P/DF64E to his brothers the DF64 and the DF83, it is obvious that the tilt is missing.
By adding this tilted base, the coffee grounds can follow gravity into the dosing cup or portafilter. This leads to less fines getting stuck between the burrs and in the chute.
The upgraded chute and declumper, cup holder and metal cup holder are compatible and recommended. The original cup holder will not work properly in combination.
Additionally, the tilted base needs soft pads to prevent vibration and movement.
